2017 Steamworks (2017)
Polyphemus (Poly) was designed to participate in FIRST Steamworks. Poly ferried plastic gears to our human player “pilots” to score, while collecting 4” whiffle balls to shoot into a goal 8 feet off the ground. At the end of the match, it was able to climb up a rope to trigger a touch sensor. Poly is also our currently active demo robot, so you can say hi at any Ctrl-Z event!
